“I don’t believe you.” King Taishan said icily and hatefully, “Don’t be too happy just yet, Earthly Sovereign. In ancient times, you were a destined one favored by the world and protected by the Heavenly Way. That is why you were able to do as you please. However, your era is long behind you. What do you have left to fight against me?”

“Fate? Not even dogs believe in that kind of shit.” The Earthly Sovereign scoffed at King Taishan’s belief in fate. “I am me. Why would I be restrained by something like fate? And why do you doubt my ability to beat you like the dog you are, now or before?”

“You will eat your words eventually.” King Taishan grunted. “You may have achieved a small victory today, but I will take it back with interest in the future!”

Realizing that his objective could no longer be fulfilled, King Taishan finally decided to cut his losses and get ready to leave. After saying this, King Taishan shot Ye Qing a long, icy look, “You too will regret this, junior.”
