Chapter 1754: The World Revitalizes (V)
Lin Hongyu traced Void’s footsteps, following the river to head toward the bridges of life and death he’d constructed. The entire world was in a state of revitalization. Life and death manifested!
Everyone seemed to sense something. Void continued to age at a rapid pace until he reached the end of the river. Here, he turned back to look at Li Hao with a sudden upwelling of emotion.
“You... are the only friend I’ve ever made in this life. I... hope... that I will not... forget you!”
Void had met Li Hao when he was a fourth rank. Today, he walked the path of life and death while being equipped with six daos of extremity. Even if he didn’t break through to seventh rank after this, he would be able to rival one!
It’d only been a few years!
He’d lived for one thousand years, but the last couple in recent memory had been the most fun and interesting.
I hope I do not forget any of this!
“I hope you don’t either!” Li Hao nodded with a smile.
The slightly wordless Lin Hongyu suddenly... pushed forward with a bit of urgency, causing the river to ripple. Void had wanted to say more, but he was squeezed down from the river and began to crumble away.
He landed on the star of life and death and began his next life!
Lin Hongyu didn’t look back; she was unimaginably old at this point as well. “I walk life and death once more. This... makes me younger than you!” she suddenly transmitted.
Li Hao blinked.
What... does she mean by that? Younger than me?
Oh! I get it. That’s true.
She’s an old maid of thirty-some years old. I didn’t pay attention last time she walked the river. Does this mean that she’ll be eighteen years old after this attempt?
Li Hao couldn’t help but laugh.
This was what women were concerned about at this stage? I never said that you’re old!
At least, you’re younger than all of the female exalted emperors I know. Hong Qing and others who were younger than you back in the day are now more than five hundred years old. You’re the youngest woman I know!
A loud cry echoed through the world. Li Hao waved a hand to hide Lin Hongyu’s newly naked state. As for Void... his butt could be seen by others!
The world was reborn alongside this cry, as if Skyward was bestowed new life. The land burgeoned with spring, like it was awakening once more!
The silent world origin thumped gently. Everything seemed to be different!
Li Hao quietly sensed everything. This was Void’s opportunity as well as Lin Hongyu’s. Granted, Lin Hongyu was just borrowing some fortune from Void.
The young man didn’t gain anything, but he chuckled gently all the same. Worlds had abruptly appeared in the river of dao. There was a world of life, death, emptiness, and revitalization...
The dao stars that they corresponded to abruptly dissipated forming four major world domains. They paired off accordingly and set themselves on the two riverbanks.
Li Hao’s strength did not increase, but he broke apart the four world domains to form separate worlds. There seemed to be more vitality in the river’s waters than before.
All of Skyward was much more in focus at this moment; a keen light shot out of the young man’s eyes and he looked at the world origin in the distance. New life was also occurring in the world origin!
The beating heart seemed to thump with double sounds.
Li Hao grinned.
Skyward... might be stronger than I think! Just what did its world master get off to doing?
Two dao rivers in the distance roared with activity and a black dog threw its head back with a howl! Hovering in the sky, Silver Moon seemed to expand once more!
Gan Wuliang, Hong Yitang, and Panther’s presences rapidly metamorphosed. They, too, seemed to have received new life. As the world origin pounded and Void cried, Silver Moon finally officially set foot into fifth rank after all of the resources it devoured!
“Those who can verify their dao may do so now!” Li Hao laughed. “There are once more spots available with the ascension of the world. Silver Moon can now support approximately fifty exalted emperors!”
Silver Moon could only support roughly thirty before. Many more spots had been released all of a sudden. Once it was a sixth rank, perhaps it would contain more exalted emperors than regular seventh rank worlds.
Bursts of killing intent raced for the heavens! Those who hadn’t been able to advance last time gleefully rushed for the dao river. It was time to commence the next round of ascension!
Skyward was Silver Moon’s land of opportunity!
......
The world revitalized amidst the cries of a baby. Life and death, emptiness and revitalization, light and darkness appeared throughout the land. In the upper skies, Silver Moon began to break through as well. Numerous cultivators began verifying their daos as exalted emperors.
It was as if the beginning of all life and being. They were bestowed new light within this silent Skyward.
The ninth rank world had been still for many years; it was like it’d truly began anew today. While there’d been inhabitants on it before, they seemed to be greatly out of place. It was different now. The world welcomed its life.

Bathed in sunlight and life, the world origin pounded at a slow pace. It was no longer in the rush that it was previously gripped by—it’d obtained new life and was growing accustomed to this new world.
Within the dao universe, new feeble stars seemed to come into existence as well. They were illusory constructs and blinked like mischievous children, illuminating the pitch black universe with faint luster.
Li Hao shut his eyes and sensed the revitalization of a myriad daos within the world. With the silencing had also come the stilling of great dao. It now reawakened. Such was a newly born ninth rank major world!
An increasing number of worlds appeared in Li Hao’s river of dao. They were all very weak as they grew from six hundred to seven, eight hundred...
The young man knew many daos, he just hadn’t coalesced them into worlds. He borrowed the revitalization of all things to transform them into worlds. One thousand was his initial goal. How to fill them was a matter that would be left to him and a question for another day.
He would be nearly at sixth rank if a thousand worlds came into being. He didn’t really need to create ten thousand of them. That would make him a seventh, eighth, and even ninth rank! [1]
One thousand worlds corresponded to one thousand daos!
In actuality, one thousand daos was only first rank, according to the arrangement in dao chess. But that was dao. Dao was simply a line. Li Hao did not walk the path of dao, but of transforming dao into worlds!
The world was a massive net!
The young man had expanded each dao into a massive net. So even if it was only one thousand worlds, he would be a bonafide sixth rank if all of them truly came to be. It would also make him one of the most premier sixth ranks in existence.
There were approximately four hundred newly born worlds at the moment. At least ten million dao crystals were required to supplement each of them. Four hundred worlds would require at least four billion dao crystals.
The key was that his previous six hundred worlds also required energy and dao strength. Some were even developing toward the rank of a mid world. That would result in even greater consumption.
There would also be some inefficiencies when dao crystals were of different attributes. Li Hao quickly assessed the situation. He didn’t need that many dao crystals—double the minimum at most. Eight billion dao crystals would absolutely be enough.
That wasn’t too much, right?
Li Hao’s lips curved into a smile. Was that a lot?
He’d felt that was an astronomical figure before—it was so much and so frightening. But now that he thought about it... it was fine, wasn’t it? That was just the strength contained within a seventh rank dao universe. Those possessed at least ten billion dao crystals, so eight billion really wasn’t much at all.
If he hadn’t given his recent spoils to the dao chess, Void, or those of Silver Moon, he’d stood a chance of making it to sixth rank.
It was just, how freeing it was to have no debt! He’d paid back a lot of favors in one fell swoop. It was alright to ascend a bit slower. Taking this opportunity to comprehend more dao and grasp more types of dao was the real task at hand.
He could now say one thing to Void—
it’s on you to make it to seventh rank. I’ve done my best. A rich second gen like you will require an eye-popping amount of resources to officially make it to seventh rank.
You’re an exalted emperor of six extreme daos and will need at least a seventh rank universe to live up to that!
Those such as the Sword Sovereign and Li Zhu had consumed a similar amount. He would need even more if he wished to enter seventh rank. Li Hao didn’t know when he might ever enter seventh rank—how many worlds did that entail?
Two thousand? Three thousand? Or four?
Would he be able to do it if he devoured all of the worlds in the four regions?
Granted, there was no need to do so.
He just needed to continuously infuse his worlds with energy to naturally accumulate more strength. Although there would be no qualitative change, there would be a quantitative change. At that time, he might be able to slaughter seventh and eighth ranks while he was a sixth rank!
Perhaps he would still be a sixth rank when he manifested nine thousand worlds. But could he truly be considered only a sixth rank when he had so many?
Li Hao grinned. It was so interesting to think about!
The myriad of worlds focused on having ten thousand worlds as a base to create a dao net of myriad worlds. Perhaps this was his path to seventh rank—to manifest ten thousand dao domains.
Typical seventh ranks merely formed their great dao into nets. Li Hao would shape his worlds into a wall. Only then would he truly set foot into the high rank level. The path ahead of him had sharpened into focus again.
Meanwhile, the child Void was swiftly growing up. Li Hao randomly threw out some cultivation methods and vast sums of dao crystals. He was purely using dao crystals to supplement the resource depletion that Void and Lin Hongyu were undergoing.
Both of them were rapidly growing up. As for the return of memories... Li Hao had required Yuan Shuo to help trigger his. He now had better methods than requiring a hefty thrashing now, but he still materialized in Void’s world and grabbed his friend for a hearty beating. This was one of his few amusements in recent days!
As for Lin Hongyu... Li Hao laughed and refrained from hitting her. He employed more dao methods to guide her memories back to their proper place!
1. Ten thousand worlds is being used as a stand-in for a myriad of worlds here. ☜
